Release Notes: Version 3.2.1 (June 23, 2004)

PROBLEM CORRECTIONS:

GEDCOM IMPORT:
1) Fixed conversion of privacy markers (from TMG and LEGACY). Beginning with Genbox version 3.2.0, privacy text in notes is now marked with {curly braces}. Previously, it had been marked with [[square brackets]].
2) Leading commas before place modifiers are now stripped.

GEDCOM EXPORT/IMPORT
1) Fixed export/import of research targets and searches information.

TOOLBAR:
1) Initial display of main toolbar corrected for a screen resolution of 800 x 600 or smaller.

FAMILY RECORDS:
1) Corrected problem with deleting family records (3.2.0 problem).

FIELD CODES:
1) The [D], [L], [D+L] codes now work correctly in event notes.

CITATIONS VIEW ASSERTION PAGE:
1) Updates to list box columns with drop lists (here, the support level and credibility columns) are now saved correctly (3.2.0 problem). This correction is also for other list box columns that have drop lists, such as on the Correspondence Log View.

INDIVIDUALS VIEW - EVENTS PAGE:
1) Witnesses List: when typing a new witness name, and the "Confirm new individual" dialog appears, choosing "cancel" now works correctly.
2) Event Preview Dialog: the conditions that allowed "[GBX]" internal codes to sometimes appear have been corrected.

PREFERENCES, DATA SETUP:
1) "Preferred folder for data files" and "Default folder for data files" were renamed to specify "media files", to remove confusion.

NARRATIVE REPORTS:
1) Corrected sentence generation to suppress leading spaces when a template code appears first.
2) Note text is no longer capitalized on generation.

OTHER:
1) Under "Data Menu, Change Preferred Identifiers": corrected operation for new identifier type design.
2) The "Assertion" page is now the default page shown when a source citation button is clicked that has an existing citation. The "Cited Sources" page remains the default page viewed when the first citation on a data item is added.
3) Individual Pick Dialog: when the dialog opens with a single selection and highlights it automatically, pressing "Select" now works as expected.
